What is a flake epoxy coating?

•⁠ ⁠A pigmented epoxy base coat with colored vinyl flakes broadcast into it.

•⁠ ⁠Usually sealed with a clear epoxy, polyaspartic, or polyurethane topcoat.

Is pebble stone epoxy porous?

Yes pebble stone epoxy is a porous coating. Which means water flows through it. This means a water proof membrane needs to be installed on top of the plywood prior to the pebble stone epoxy.

Can pebble stone epoxy be installed on existing vinyl decks?

Yes, pebble stone epoxy can be installed directly over top of existing vinyl decking. If the vinyl has any holes or the seams are leaking, it needs to be repaired prior to the pebble stone.
